Family Camping with the Cluffs!

For reasons unknown to me, Jennifer and her family LOVE to go camping with all of us!!  LOL  (and we are so glad).  So after numerous attempts to schedule, we finally found a date that worked for everyone.  Scott and Lindsay headed up a little earlier than us and found a wonderful spot and set up camp.  We brought all the toys, plus Dale built a zip line for the kids and that kept them very entertained, along with mush ball, frisby golf, and a lot of card playing!!  On Saturday, it started to rain at 1pm and didn't stop for about 10 hours.  It definately dampened the games, but not our spirit.  The kids watched movies in the trailer, and we kept playing cards through it all!!!  Luckily the tents all stayed dry and we woke up to a beautiful day on Sunday!!!

Our first camping trip of the Summer!

It has been such a crazy year, we hadn't had a chance to camp yet.  You can't really count the weekend we took the trailer to Mund's Park and we camped overnight in the trailer park.  Lol! 

There is nothing nicer than having the opportunity to just sit and enjoy nature!!  To not be thinking that you should be doing something else!!  We had a really good time except that Jaime's famiy wasn't there.  They were at the cabin with the Jarman's for the 4th of July!!

 

 

Summer Sports and Activities with the Grandkids!

The grandkids keep us busy watching their sports and activities, and we wouldn't have it any other way!!  Ethan and Kaleb both played Baseball.  Ethan's team made it to the play-off's and came in 2nd.   Allie played Volleyball and entertained us with Ballet, Tap, and Jazz in her Dance Recital.  They all did so well!  We are so lucky that they live so close by and we can participate in all of the activities!!!



Fun with the family at Roosevelt (once again)

Our yearly "family" reunion with all of the Persons at Roosevelt each year is a highlight.  How can you go wrong with fun and craziness on the lake, a cool place to shower and nap, activities at the rec center, good food and games, games, and more games!!!!  It is awesome!!!
