Halloween with our "Grand" Gobblins!!!

It is always so much fun to see the grandkids on Halloween and go trick or treating with them.  One of these days, Dale and I will stay home and pass out candy.  Or NOT!!!

 

This year was even more fun because we have another little "gobblin" in the family.  It was Ryan's first halloween.  And Lindsay happened to be in town.  So, everyone congregated at the Jarman's for dinner and fun. 

 

Ethan was an 80's rocker, Allie a witch, Kaleb The Hulk, Rylie a belly dancer, and Ryan a monkey!!

Fun at the "Happiest Place on Earth"!

It's been awhile since the whole family has been to Disneyland together.   Everyone except Ryan made the trek to the Disney Grand California for some "Grand" fun!!  We left hot Phoenix looking forward to lovely weather in California only to be thrown into a fluke heat wave.  Our first day was very nice.  However Thursdsay, Friday & Saturday, were in the 100's and very humid.  It was 107 degrees one day!!  We escaped to our hotel and the pool in the afternoon and headed back to the park for the evening.  Car's Land just opened this summer and we all LOVED the Radiator Springs ride.  It definately has become a favorite of many!!!

Our First Pool Party!

We were all so excited when the very anticipated day came for our first Pool Party!!!  Everyone had a "Cool" time!!!

 



We are getting a Pool?

Finally we decided to move forward with getting a pool!!  We had no idea that it would be such a LONG process!!  The design was created and paperwork signed by the end of April.  However, with design issues and an 8' PUE (Public Utility Easement) on the side of our yard where the pool was to be, it took a lot longer than we thought.  Finally, our Pool was finished and filled on August 14th!!!

  

Family Camping with the Cluffs!

For reasons unknown to me, Jennifer and her family LOVE to go camping with all of us!!  LOL  (and we are so glad).  So after numerous attempts to schedule, we finally found a date that worked for everyone.  Scott and Lindsay headed up a little earlier than us and found a wonderful spot and set up camp.  We brought all the toys, plus Dale built a zip line for the kids and that kept them very entertained, along with mush ball, frisby golf, and a lot of card playing!!  On Saturday, it started to rain at 1pm and didn't stop for about 10 hours.  It definately dampened the games, but not our spirit.  The kids watched movies in the trailer, and we kept playing cards through it all!!!  Luckily the tents all stayed dry and we woke up to a beautiful day on Sunday!!! 

We had a Awesome time!!!
